Core Responsibilities

• Lead business process discovery and design workshops covering entitlement, reconciliation, and optimization workflows.
• Translate client objectives into a scalable SAM architecture leveraging ServiceNow SAM Pro / Enterprise features.
• Define the governance model, license metric logic, and compliance reporting framework for key publishers (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, Salesforce, AWS, etc.).
• Partner with Cadena technical consultants to implement:
  • SaaS connectors (OOB and Custom)
  • Procurement integrations
  • Request Workflows
  • Software Spend Detection
  • Cloud Cost Management
  • Entitlement import and normalization logic
• Develop and validate data models, mapping, and normalization strategies across CMDB, procurement, and discovery sources.
• Deliver strategic recommendations that tie ServiceNow capabilities to cost savings, compliance, and license optimization outcomes.
• Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, configuration documentation, and training materials.
• Serve as the trusted advisor for client executives, Procurement, ITAM, and Finance leaders.
• Support UAT and go-live readiness, ensuring solution quality and adoption.

Required Experience

• 7+ years in Software Asset Management, including enterprise licensing, audit defense, or optimization experience.
• 3+ years leading ServiceNow SAM Pro/Enterprise implementations end-to-end.
• Deep understanding of:
  • Entitlement and reconciliation logic
  • License metric modeling (per user, per device, per core, SaaS usage)
  • Integration design
• Hands-on experience with data normalization, CMDB alignment, and performance analytics dashboards.
• Proven track record of client-facing leadership — running workshops, presenting recommendations, and managing stakeholders.
• ServiceNow SAM Pro Implementation Specialist Certification (CIS-SAM) (required).
• ServiceNow Certified System Admin (CSA)
• Familiarity with CSDM and ITOM structures that underpin SAM visibility.
