Core Responsibilities

• Configure and customize ServiceNow SAM Pro / SAM Enterprise applications including:
  • Publisher Packs, Reconciliation Definitions, and Entitlement Imports
  • SaaS License Management and Cloud Cost Management modules
  • Software Models, Discovery normalization, and reclamation workflows
• Build  integrations using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain UI Policies, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and Script Includes that align with Cadena’s coding standards.
• Collaborate with architects to convert user stories into technical tasks and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct unit testing and peer code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Support data loads, transform maps, and fix scripts for initial entitlement and asset ingestion.
• Document configurations, deployment steps, and reusable components in Cadena’s internal library.
• Troubleshoot issues, recommend enhancements, and contribute to sprint demos and retrospectives.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience, including hands-on SAM Pro work.
• Solid understanding of SAM data structures.
• Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and API-based integrations.
• Familiarity with Discovery, CMDB normalization, and CSDM alignment.
• Ability to read and write JavaScript, Glide API, and business rules that interact with SAM tables.
• Comfortable working in Agile / Scrum environments, delivering from story to deployment.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
• SAM Pro Implementation Specialist (CIS-SAM) required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAM, HAM, or ITOM modules beyond SAM Pro.
• Knowledge of software licensing concepts (per user, per device, per core, SaaS, etc.).
• Prior consulting or client-facing project experience.
